Quebec launches P3 tender for Montreal rail maintenance facility New rail maintenance facility

Infrastructure Québec, in collaboration with the Montreal region Metropolitan Transportation Agency (AMT), has announced a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for the selection of candidates to design, build, finance and maintain of a Maintenance facility for commuter trains, located in Pointe-Saint-Charles, Montreal.

AMT, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Québec are collaborating closely in the selection of the private partner.

The goal of this request for qualification is to retain a maximum of four (4) qualified candidates who will be invited to pursue the selection process by submitting a proposal in the subsequent stage.At the proposal stage, only invited candidates are eligible to present a proposal. After evaluation of the proposals, the selected proponent will be invited to execute the project agreement as the private partner.The deadline for submission of qualification documents is September, 24th, 2013. (BBGI), the listed global infrastructure investment company, has announced that it has signed the acquisition agreement for the 50% equity and loan note interest in Kelowna Vernon Hospitals and 100% equity and loan note interest in North East Stoney Trail for £25.9 million.
