PwC hires new Head of Infrastructure & Project Finance in Toronto

Several sources have announced that PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has hired a new head for its infrastructure and project finance team in Toronto.
Sashen Guneratna has joined PwC as a managing director, coming from National Bank Financial, where he was Vice President of Infrastructure Finance with a focus on Public Private Partnerships and renewable power.
Mr. Guneratna holds MBA and BA degrees from York University - Schulich School of Business.
According to his Linkedin profile, prior to working for National Bank Financial, he worked for CIT Financial, Scotia Capital, Global Power Group, Scotia Bank and SurveySite.
He acted as lender in many renewable and P3 projects, including among them:
- Erie Shores Wind Farm
- Thorold Co-Generations Project
- Royal Victoria Hospital (Barrie, Ontario)
- South East Stoney Trail
