Minas Gerais has started a public consultation procedure for the concession whose object is the operation, administration, maintenance and implementation of complementary improvements of the regional Airport at Zona da Mata (Itamar Franco Airport).

The airport serves the city of Juiz de Fora (509,125 inhabitants), and the region of Zona da Mata,  located in the municipality of Goianá. 

The term of the concession contract will be 25 years and the estimated value of tender is R$ 188.906.460 (US$85 million).
