Preferred contractor selected for US$290 million School PPP Project in UK

Robertson Construction Group has been announced as the preferred bidder for four schools in the North Schools Programme, a collaborative initiative between development partner hub North Scotland and participating local authorities.

The program involves four major educational projects:

  • Aberdeen City Council: New Hazelhead Campus and an expanded St. Peter's Roman Catholic School.
  • Shetland Islands Council: New Brae Campus.
  • Argyll and Bute Council: New Mull Community Campus.

Together, these projects, valued at GBP 232.5 million (US$ 290 million), will provide modernized and enhanced learning facilities for 2,720 students. The evaluations consider factors such as costs, risks, transportation impacts, and community feedback. The North Schools Programme represents a collaborative effort among several local authorities, including Argyll and Bute, working alongside hub North Scotland to deliver a modernized learning estate.
