Preferred bidder for Uganda PPP police barracks

The consortium M/S Ahadi consortium has been named preferred bidder for the Ugandan PPP police contract. Two other bidders Fangda Development and Investments Limited, and Akright Projects Limited could not obtain finally the contract.

The Transaction Advisor (TA) consisted of Turner & Townsend (Pty) Ltd, G5 Specialised Finance (Pty) Limited, Deneys Reitz Incorporated, Infrastructure Design Forum and Shonubi Musoke & Co.
The UPF has identified the need to upgrade its current working and residential accommodation, training facilities and services to support its expansion process and to improve its operational effectiveness.
The operational premises and living accommodation for the UPF buildings require a Facilities Management (FM) intervention. The area of highest concern is the living accommodation for police officers.
