PPP tender launched for new theatres at Warwickshire hospital

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust have launched a tender process to develop new theatres at Warwickshire hospital in UK.

More concretely, the authorities have launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) for a public concession for works and services to develop a leased plot of land adjacent to Hospital St Cross Rugby.

The interest from private entities is for the development and operation of a suite of theatres for public and private patients. The lease will facilitate the construction of a new public and private patients theatre suite with supporting facilities to be built and operated by the successful bidder.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the design, build, finance and operation, which will be physically connected to Hospital St Cross Rugby. Accordingly, the design must be sympathetic to the design of Hospital St Cross Rugby and address construction and operating risk issues associated with the physical connection.

Interested parties must submit their expression of interest on or before May 30.
