PPP specialists joins Dentons Canada's Toronto office

Dentons Canada LLP announced yesterday that Michael Ledgett has joined the Toronto office as a partner in the firm's Corporate practice.

With over forty years' experience, Michael is a corporate/commercial lawyer who specializes in corporate governance, private M&A, PPP/infrastructure and transportation. Michael acts for governments, government agencies, private sector developers, operators, lenders and investors on PPP projects in Canada and internationally, and for governments, government agencies and private sector entities in the air, bus, marine, rail, transit and truck sectors of the transportation industry.

Mike Kaplan, Managing Partner of Dentons Canada's Toronto office, said:

"Our clients - Canadian and global - will greatly benefit from Michael's wealth of experience. Michael is an important addition to our strong national PPP/Infrastructure group, and as a co-chair of the national group will be instrumental in growing this practice in Toronto and across the country. Michael will also serve as the co-chair of our national Transportation practice."

Michael is Honorary Counsel to the Ontario Public Transit Association. Michael joins Dentons Canada from Heenan Blaikie LLP.

Dentons was formed in March 2013 by the combination of international law firm Salans LLP, Canadian law firm Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) and international law firm SNR Denton.
