Portuguese town tenders two concessions

The municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, a town in Algarve (Portugal) with about 20,000 inhabitants, has recently published two concessions for the development of a multi-purpose sports facilities and the construction of a hotel.

The multi purpose sports facilities project will be implemented on a design, build operate (DBO) basis during a period of 30 years. The project will also include commercial facilities such as food shop, health store or similar.

The hotel project will be also developed on a design, build operate (DBO) basis during a period of 50 years. The project will involve the construction of a hotel with a minimum quality of four stars and a minimum of 100 (one hundred) and a maximum of 150 (one hundred fifty) rooms.

The deadline for submission of applications for the multi-purpose sports facilities project is June 15, 2016 at 18:00 hours. The applications must be submitted in Portuguese language.
