Plenary Group opens office in Brisbane

Plenary Group announced on March 19th it has established a permanent presence in Queensland, appointing Paul Digby as an Executive Director to head up its new Brisbane office.

Paul has been with Plenary Group since 2006 and has been integral on a number of successful company transactions including the Gold Coast Light Rail and the Queensland Schools project.

Paul will draw on the support of Minter Ellison Gold Coast Managing Partner, John Witheriff. John is president of the Gold Coast Suns, chairman of the Gold Coast Light Rail operator GoldLinQ and a director of Plenary's Queensland Schools project.

Plenary's Managing Director, Paul Oppenheim, said its new Brisbane presence will support the company's current portfolio of projects in the State and provide a platform from which to bid further projects emerging in the Queensland market.

"This move reflects Plenary's confidence in Queensland's growth potential and the Government's commitment to deliver new infrastructure," Mr Oppenheim said.

"What we're seeing in Queensland is a government actively generating new investment opportunities in infrastructure, an encouraging pipeline of projects and best practice procurement."
