PIN launched for Vienna campus PPP

Vienna City Administration has launched a tender process to seek a private partner to develop a new training camp at Nordbahnhof (Vienna, Austria).

The project, a day-long educational camp, will be located in Vienna 1020, Nordbahnhof. A PPP contract will be sign with the private partner.

The awarded developer will build, finance and maintenance the camp, as wells as provide supplementary services.

The Viennese administration intends to award the contract in January 2017. The construction works are expected to start in December 2018 and be completed May 2020.

In November 2014, we reported that Vienna launched another tender process to select developers for the construction of an education campus public private partnership (PPP) project. The project involves the development of a kindergarten, an elementary school, 2 gyms, a youth centre and a music school, among others. The EIB provided approximately €300 million (US$333.5 million).
