Piauí, one of the states of Brazil, has launched a tender process to hire consultants to develop a tourism complex through the PPP model.

The complex will be developed in an area of 200,000 m², in which the are buildings developed back in 1970. The concession would involve the construction, renovation, maintenance, operation and exploitation of the tourist complex.

Interested parties must develop feasibility studies that will include economic and financial, environmental and legal analysis of the potential concession.

The deadline to submit the expression of interest (EOI) is 6 February 2016 and the time to develop the solicited studies is 180 days. The selected firm will receive a 2.5% of the total project investment.
