The government of Philippines, through the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), has approved 6 new PPP projects worth P164.1 billion (US$3.67 billion).

The six approved projects are the following:

• Development, operation and maintenance of the Puerto Princesa Airport. The total project investment is estimated at P5.23 billion;
• Development, operation and maintenance of Davao Airport. The total project investment is estimated at P40.57 billion;
• Development, operation and maintenance of Bacolod Airport. The total project investment is estimated at P20.26 billion;
• Development, operation and maintenance of Iloilo Airport. The total project investment is estimated at P30.40 billion;
• Development of Davao Sasa Port. The total project investment is estimated at P17.46 billion; and
• Regional Prison Facilities through PPP. The total project investment is estimated at P50.18 billion.

The NEDA has also approved a request of the DPWH (Department of Public Works and Highways) to proceed with the Laguna Lakeshore expressway and dike PPP project and changes on the Laguindingan airport PPP project. NEDA reported in a statement:

The 18-month loan extension for [the Laguindingan Airport's] air navigation system and support facilities was moved to Jan. 10, 2016 from July 10, 2014. The cost reallocation effectively decreased the total cost to P7.70 billion from P7.85 billion. The approval, however, was conditioned on a change in specifications to be confirmed by the DPWH.

Ten PPP projects have been awarded under the government's flagship infrastructure PPP program., so far:

• Daang Hari-South Luzon Expressway Link Road;
• Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway;
• First phase of the PPP for School Infrastructure Project (PSIP);
• PSIP's second phase;
• Philippine Orthopedic Center modernization;
• Automatic Fare Collection System; and
• Mactan-Cebu International Airport Passenger Terminal Building.
• NAIA Expressway PPP project
• LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension Operation & Maintenance.
• PPP for School Infrastructure Project (PSIP) Phase II

Seven others have been rolled out:

• Integrated Transport System (ITS) Project-Southwest Terminal;
• ITS Project-South Terminal;
• Bulacan Bulk Water Supply Project;
• New Centennial Water Source Project;
• LRT Line 2 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) PPP project;
• Cavite and Laguna (CALA) Expressway PPP project;
• Cavite-Laguna Expressway;
