Partnerships BC, on behalf of the Capital Regional District in Canada has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Residuals Treatment Facility Project P3.
The RFQ invites teams to express their interest in, and qualifications for, the development of a new Residuals Treatment Facility to produce Class A Biosolids in Saanich, British Columbia.
The estimated investment for the project stands at US$170 million.
The project will be procured using a Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM) model to leverage private sector innovation and expertise. The Capital Regional District expects that a single private partner will provide these integrated services, accepting defined project risks.
The deadline for interested firms to submit their qualification documents is February 9, 2017.
