The Brazilian State of Paraná has launched a request for expressions of interest to structure a road PPP project called "Complexo Viário do Litoral".

Through this process the state aims to obtain feasibility studies to carry out the project.

The road PPP project is expected to include the upgrade, operation and maintenance of the PRC-101 road between Santa Catarina and São Paulo, which has been divided into four lots.

Interested parties in developing the mentioned feasibility studies must submit their expression of interest (EOI) on or before February 4, 2016. The studies will have to be submitted in 180 days and the maximum possible compensation is the higher between R$1,861,512.20 or 2.5% of the concessionaire's investment.

Last month we reported that the State of Paraná announced a public meeting for the Londrina - Maringá rail PPP project. Before, in November, the state had launched a tender process to hire consultants for the project.
