Operis opens North American office

Operis, a specialist in financial advice, model audit, financial modelling training and financial modelling software, has announced the opening of a North American office, located in Toronto, Canada.

Situated in the Toronto financial district, the office will serve as the base to satisfy growing demand for its modelling, model auditing and advisory services in connection with US and Canadian energy and infrastructure transactions.

Chairman David Colver, remarked how pleased he is to see the firm moving beyond its existing UK home.

"Opening the North American office is a significant moment in the firm's history, and a necessary step to ensure our quality service is further enhanced with permanent members of the team located closer to the growing pipeline of US and Canadian P3 deals."

In recent years Operis has made a significant contribution to the North American energy and infrastructure market, having participated in over 100 North American transactions, dating back to the award winning Golden Ears Bridge P3 project in Vancouver, Canada.

The new office will be headed up by Assistant Director Peter Rebecchi, along with Alex Ryan and Jun Tao.

Operis is an advisor in project finance; providing advisory services, tailored modelling projects, training and related product sales to banks, project sponsors and government departments in the UK and globally. These are typically in connection with the provision of capital funding for large infrastructure and other projects.

Operis is highly involved in the PPP market working with models to support bids for hospitals, schools, roads and other public services.
