OMAN´s OPWP seeks consultants for water and power projects

Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (OPWP), a member of Nama Group who is responsible for the procurement of new electricity generating capacity and water in the Sultanate of Oman, has recently published a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide Advisory Services for the development and implementation of a process for the future Contracting of Power and Related Water Capacity.

More concretely, OPWP seeks a proposal from either a single bidder or a consortium to provide Advisory Services covering economic, financial, commercial and legal areas for the development of a revised process for the future Contracting of Power and Related Water Capacity by OPWP and the initial implementation of the process to a contracting round aimed at securing capacity from 2022.

The tender documents will be available for purchase from the offices of OPWP effective from 25th April 2016 to 8th May 2016.

Interested firms must submit their proposal before 5th June 2016, 11.00 hrs (Gulf Standard time).
