OHL Mexico's CFO leaves the firm

OHL Mexico, one of the country's leading transport infrastructure operators, has announced that the company Chief financial officer (CFO), Rafael Lira Oaxaca, is  leaving the firm.

Sergio Hidalgo, the firm's General Manager, will take over the functions until another CFO is appointed.

Rafael Lira Oaxaca was appointed as OHL's CFO on 28 November 2012. He replaced Rafael Villafáñez, who had held the position since September 2011. Mr. Lira had left the company in 2011 to pursue other projects.

Mr. Lira has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Masters in Business Administration from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE).

Prior to OHLMr Lira was Chief Financial Officer of Techint, and over his extensive career in the financial sector he held the CFO position at companies such as Cablemas,  S.A. de C.V., Bebidas Refrescantes, S.A. de C.V. (within the Coca-Cola system) and Latin American Coca-Cola bottler Panamerican Beverages Inc..
