Mexico's Secretary of Communications and Transport (SCT) has received five bids for the Siglo XXI highway concession (Jantetelco - El Higuerón).
The reception of bids and the opening of technical proposals took place on October 31st. The five groups that submitted proposals for the project are the following:
The 30-year concession contract consists of the Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of a 60 km stretch of the Siglo XXI highway, between Jantetelco and the Autopista del Sol (Km 40), in the state of Morelos.
Other companies such as FCC, Sacyr Concesiones, Odebrecht, China Harbour Engineering-Omega delivered a letter apologizing for not submitting bids for the project.
