OHL, Isolux, Mota Engil bid for Siglo XXI highway concession in Mexico

Mexico's Secretary of Communications and Transport (SCT) has received five bids for the Siglo XXI highway concession (Jantetelco - El Higuerón).
The reception of bids and the opening of technical proposals took place on October 31st. The five groups that submitted proposals for the project are the following:
- Coconal
- OHL Mexico
- Isolux Infrastructure
- Mota Engil, Grupo Promotor de Desarrollo e Infraestructura SA and M.E.P Latinoamerica SA
- Concesiones y Mantenimiento Aldesem (Aldesa), Construcciones Aldesem (Aldesa), Desarrolladores de Infraestructuras Viares SA, Proyectos de Autopistas Privadas SA and Grupo Concesionario de Mexico SA
The 30-year concession contract consists of the Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of a 60 km stretch of the Siglo XXI highway, between Jantetelco and the Autopista del Sol (Km 40), in the state of Morelos.
Other companies such as FCC, Sacyr Concesiones, Odebrecht, China Harbour Engineering-Omega delivered a letter apologizing for not submitting bids for the project.

Mexico's Secretary of Communications and Transport (SCT) has delayed the Guanajuato - San Miguel de Allende highway concession. SCT published an announcement delaying the submission of bids for the project sinedie. The announcement was issued on November 1st. Read more -
