According to different sources, OHL Concesiones has restructured its management positions in the last days. This restructuring is related to Abertis' acquisition of all the assets of OHL Concesiones in Brazil and Chile in exchange for a 10 % stake in Abertis.
The changes include the creation of a new business unit focused on North America. This unit will be led by José María López de Fuentes who was in charge of the Latin America's branch of OHL Concesiones. Mr. Fuentes previously had led the successful efforts of Cintra in North America as CEO during the period 2004-2009.
OHL Concesiones has also restructured its Finance Department as previous CFO Felipe Ezquerra joined Abertis to manage Arteris, the Brazillian unit recently acquired. Gabriel Núñez, ex-Ferrovial who joined OHL in 2011, will substitute Mr. Ezcurra.
Ignacio García González, previously in charge of the Autopista Urbana Norte in Mexico has been appointed as Technical Director in Madrid. Sergio Hidalgo, previously in public roles, will lead OHL Mexico.
