Finnish company Caverion has signed a 20 year operating agreement to carry out an Office Building PPP project at Kalvebod Brygge in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The investors behind the construction are state property agency Bygningsstyrelsen, Nordea Liv & Pension, Pædagogernes Pensionskasse and Lægernes Pensionskasse. The contractor for the project is A. Enggaard.
Under the terms of the agreement Caverion will have responsible for the planning, building, operating and maintenance of the property during a 20 year period. The concession contract has a value of €80 million (US$87.2 million).
The total area of the property housing the new office building is approximately 40 000 m2 and will house Energistyrelsen, Banedanmark, Trafikstyrelsen and Vejdirektoratet.
The new facilities are set to be operational by the second half of 2018. The operation and maintenance phase will run until 2038.
