The Comptroller of the City of New York, acting on behalf of the NYC Retirement Systems, has invited proposals from firms to provide infrastructure investment consulting and support services to the pension fund.
Questions about the RFP should be transmitted by e-mail to Evelyn Dresler, Director of Asset Management Contracting at bamcontracts@comptroller.nyc.gov by May 19, 2014.

This announcement follows the tender process recently launched by the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), which is also searching for an infrastructure investment consultant that would serve as an independent adviser to the pension fund's investment committee.
On May 5th, we published that the New York City Employees' Retirement System (NYECRS) had committed $300 million to IFM's Global Infrastructure Fund and $200 million to First Reserve Energy Infrastructure Fund II.
