Norway seeks advisor for school PPP project

The Norwegian Bodø municipality has issued a tender process to hire a technical advisor for the development of a new school building through a public-private partnership (PPP) project at Tverlandet, Bodø, Norway.

The project advisor shall prepare necessary documentation and implement the tender competition with negotiations for procurement of the new school building.

Bodø kommune requests that the advisor will continue the follow-up of the project after the PPP provider is selected and until the building is in operation. The contracting authority will enter into an agreement regarding hire of the school building during the contract period, including operation and management.

The first phase of the advisory contract will be implemented during the first quarter of 2015. The estimated values of this phase I is NOK2 million (US$0.32 million). The contract is expected to start on 9 September 2014 and the date limit for completion is 1 January 2017.

Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 18 August 2014.
