No Feasibility studies submitted for road PPP in Minas Gerais

The Ministry of transport of Minas Gerais did not receive feasibility studies from any of the 20 parties that previously had registered to carry out the feasibility study for the União road concession project (sections BR-262 and BR-381 MG/ES) .

The road project includes two stretches of federal highways linking Belo Horizonte to the border with the state of Espiritu Santo:

  • BR-262, between the junction with BR-381, João Monlevade, and the junction with BR-101
  • BR-381, between the junction with BR-262, João Monlevade, and the junction with BR-262.

The Ministry of Transport also launched other four request for expressions of interest (RFEOIs) in June 2015 focused on federal highways which are waiting for feasibility studies submission by authorized companies. The deadlines for submission of studies will close between June 13 and August 31.
