The company, which was already emerged as the Preferred Bidder for this six-lane project during the Bid Opening meet of NHAI on Friday (Feb 18, 2011), has finally bagged 111.4 km-long six-lane project worth Rs 1,396 crores (US$ 303 million), from Dhankunj to Kharagpur section on NH-6 in West Bengal.
Punj Lloyd bags BOT annuity project from NHAIPunj Lloyd Group subsidiary, Punj Lloyd Infrastructure (PLIL) has received a letter of award from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for upgradation of NH-31 from Khagaria to Purnea in Bihar to a two-laned, undivided carriage way with paved shoulders, under the NHDP III (National Highways Development Programme- III) on BOT annuity basis.
The estimate cost of the project is Rs. 735 crore (US$ 160 million). The scope of work involves design, build, finance, operate and transfer of the 140 km section of the National Highway. PLIL will form a special purpose vehicle (SPV), which will be signing a concession agreement with NHAI for 17 years and will be entitled to semi annual of Rs. 56 crore (US$ 12.156 million).
Madhucon Projects bags project from NHAIMadhucon Projects has received a letter of award from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) worth Rs. 1,200 crore (US$ 260 million) for 4-laning of Barsasat- Krishnagar section of NH 34 from Km 31 to Km 115 in the State of West Bengal under National Highway development programme (NHDP-III) on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis (DBFOT) on annuity basis. The concession period is 17 years including construction period of 910 days.
