The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is looking for concessionaire to develop, design, construct, finance, operate and maintain the proposed I-77 High Occupancy Toll (HOT) project, which  is a conversion and expansion of the current High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV).
The project will provide growing communities and congested I-77 traffic with additional capacity. This procurement aims to secure a concessionaire to manage the project through a long term toll concession agreement.
An industry forum is scheduled for Feb. 23, 2012 in Charlotte, N.C., and responses to the RFQ will be due March 15, 2012.
