Bertrand Guiot has joined the sydney office of French bank Natixis as head of global infrastructure and projects in Australia. Guiot will report to Daniel Klinger, head of aircraft, export and infrastructure finance for Asia-Pacific, and locally to Michael Lang, senior country manager, Natixis Australia.
Guiot moved to Australia in August 2014 from Canada where he was Executive Director for Natixis' global infrastructure and projects team, which started to operate in Montreal in 2012. Over the past 18 months, he has participated in the closing of six renewable transactions and several PPP transactions in North America.
Prior to Natixis, Guiot was at Dexia in Montreal, and earlier on at Dexia in Paris.
Moritz Bloch has also joined Natixis' global infrastructure and projects teams as a director in Paris.
He will report to Bénédicte de Giafferri, head of global infrastructure and projects for France, Germany and Benelux. Bloch will be in charge of originating and executing mandates in energy, infrastructure and telecom. He has 15-years project finance experience, covering financial advisory as well as arranging of financings in the bank or bond market.
Prior to joining Natixis, Bloch worked with Deutsche Bank's infrastructure and energy team. Working first out of Frankfurt, he relocated in 2011 to Paris to take the lead on developing the French and Belgian markets.
