Mott MacDonald, a multidisciplinary consultancy with headquarters in the United Kingdom, has appointed Chris Dulake as major projects portfolio director.

Chris joins the company in May and will play a leading role engaging with customers and positioning Mott MacDonald for major United Kingdom and international infrastructure projects.

Chris has nearly 30 years’ experience as a civil engineer and has worked on major infrastructure projects around the world. He joins Mott MacDonald from HS2, where he was engineering director for Phase 1. Prior to this he spent seven years as chief engineer on the Crossrail project. During this time he was the single point of engineering technical authority for the programme, providing technical leadership to deliver a world-class level of performance.

Chris will be engaged across all of the sectors and regions Mott MacDonald operates and will significantly strengthen the company’s service offering on major projects.

Mott MacDonald has confirmed to HS2 Ltd that Chris will not be involved in HS2’s current procurement processes.

Mott MacDonald is involved in several major infrastructure projects, such as Crossrail, HS2, London Power Tunnels and Thames Tideway in the United Kingdom, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, Alaskan Way Viaduct and East Side Access in the United States, Hong Kong International Airport third runway, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau link and Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) in Asia-Pacific, Africa’s giant 7000km Mwambani Rail Corridor and the Tarbela Dam hydropower expansion in Pakistan.
