The Municipality of Contagem, located in Minas Gerais, has begun works to carry out feasibility studies for two possible PPP projects in the areas of education and health.

The health PPP project would involve the management, modernization, operation and maintenance of Contagem's health system.

Albino Advogados Associados and the consortium formed by Construcap - CCPS Engenharia e Comércio S.A and BF Capital Assessoria em Operações Financeiras Ltda have been selected to develop feasibility studies for the health PPP project, while Ernst & Young Assessoria Empresarial Ltda. has not been qualified.

The education PPP project would involve the renovation, expansion and operation of non educational services of Contagem's public school units.

CPD - Companhia Paulista de Desenvolvimento and Socicam Administração, Projetos e Representações Ltda have been selected to develop feasibility studies for the education PPP project while Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV Projetos has not been qualified.

Feasibility studies for both projects are scheduled to be presented by June.
