The state of Minas Gerais has started a public consultation for the concession of the northern stretch of Belo Horizonte ring road.

The northern stretch of the metropolitan ring road will cross 8 cities and is considered  one of the greatest works of structuring of the metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte.

The contract term is 30 years and the estimated value of the investment is R$2.8 billion (US$1.23 billion). The federal government will contribute with R$800 million (US$353 million) to the project.
