Metropole Nice Cote D´azur tenders market PPP

Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur, France, has launched a tender process to develop a new food and horticultural platform (Azure MIN) at Baronne trough a public private partnership (PPP) project.

The market PPP project involves, among others the following:

  • design of several buildings of approximately 33,000 to 34,000 square meters and parking facilities.
  • project financing
  • maintenance of the new facilities
  • construction and operation of a real estate program of approximately 7,000 to 8,000 square meters to offset the project investment
  • implementation of regulatory environmental measures

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 23 June 2015.

The Nice urban area extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km². The Nice metropolitan area had a GDP amounting to US$47.7 billion, and US$34,480 per capita, slightly lower than the French average.

We have recently reported that the Local Government of Kerala (India) launched requests for qualifications (RFQs) to develop a Municipal Market and Multi-Functional Complex at Adoor.
