India launches RFQ for US$1.75 billion highway project
The Border Roads Organisation has invited applications for prequalification from applicants interested in construction, operation and maintenance of Zozila Tunnel including approaches on NH-1 in (Srunagar Sonamarg Gumri road) in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (India) on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer.
The scope of works broadly includes Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Works of zozila tunnel (Single tube bidirectional tunnel with parallel egress tunnel) including approaches (10.82 Km approach road).
The deadline for submitting Request for Qualifications is 1 July 2013.
A pre-application conference will be held on 1o Jun 2013 at HQ DGBR Seema Sadak Bhawan, Ring Road, Delhi cantt, New Delhi.
The estimated investment will be Rs.9990 crores (US$1.75 billion).
