Medway Council seeks private partner for housing and car park project

Medway Council has launched the tender process to seek private partner to develop Queen Street car park in Medway, Kent (UK).

Queen Street car park will provide residential accommodation whilst retaining the existing number of public car parking spaces.

The Council has the land and the developer should be able to bring the finance and experience sufficient to deliver the project and return a profit share back to the council for the sale of units.

The estimated total value ranges from £15 to 25 million (US$19 to 32 million) and the deadline for submitting proposals is October 7th.
