Mazars promotes two project finance members to Partners

Leading international accountancy firm Mazars announced two days ago the admission of two members of its Project Finance team to the partnership. Tom Bricheri-Columbi and Stephen Fuller, who have been with the firm since 2007 and 2008 respectively, have been promoted to Partner. They are both key members of the firm's successful and growing team that provides advisory and audit services to public private partnerships, construction and renewable energy projects across Europe.

Tom Brichieri-Colombi is a founding members of the team and has worked with partner Jerome Brice to build the Model Audit practice at Mazars, which is now recognised as one of the leading model audit teams in the global infrastructure market. Tom has led review assignments across a full range of sectors and is a recognised financial modelling expert. His appointment will facilitate the achievement of the team's ambitious goals for growth in primary and secondary markets internationally.

Stephen Fuller joined the Infrastructure Tax and Accounting team at Mazars in 2008 from Ernst & Young - he is a recognised industry figure with many years of experience in the sector, spanning a significant number of projects. Since he joined Mazars, Stephen has overseen the strong growth of the technical advisory side of the business by providing a real alternative for clients seeking informed infrastructure tax and accounting advice.

Bob Green, Head of Project Finance at Mazars commented:

"We are committed to establishing Mazars as the pre-eminent financial advisory firm in the global infrastructure market. We are one of the few firms who are able to bring together market leading financial modelling , tax and accounting expertise - our difference is that we combine that capability in one team.  In a challenging environment, the ability to understand the practical impact of the interaction of changes in tax legislation and accounting standards at a detailed project level is fundamental; we are determined to offer our clients this market leading expertise. The appointment of Tom and Stephen is both recognition of the success of, and a reinforcement of our commitment to, this strategy.  We are delighted to welcome them both to the Mazars partnership."
