The Toll Road Regulatory Agency in Indonesia has signed the 40-year concession agreement for the Solo - Yogyakarta - NYIA Kulon Progo toll road project with PT Jogjasolo Marga Makmur Consortium consisting of PT Daya Mulya Turangga-Gama Group, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk.
The toll road will have a length of 91.93 km and will have 6 intersections. This project aims to improve accessibility from/to the New Yogyakarta International Airport in Kulonprogo. 35 kilometers of the road will cross the province of Central Java, and the other 61 kilometers - the Yogyakarta Province area.
The construction works for the project are expected to start in October 2020. The road construction will be divided into three stages. The road is expected to be operational in December 2024.
The project is supported by PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur and a number of Indonesian banks.
Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Indonesia has signed a Preliminary Work Agreement with the consortium of Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN) and Thales Alenia Space (a joint venture between Thales - 67% and Leonardo - 33%) for the US$ 550 million SATIRA satellite PPP project - Indonesia´s biggest telecommunications satellite to date. The agreement means the beginning of the activities of the broadband telecommunications satellite.
