Maddocks appoints PPP expert

Australian law firm Maddocks has further bolstered its Construction & Projects practice with the appointment of one of Australia’s leading construction and infrastructure partners.

Andrew Pitney has over 25 years’ experience advising private sector and public sector clients on some of the biggest infrastructure projects. He has advised on seven Public Private Partnership projects in the past two years. Other project roles include the National Broadband Network, City Link, EastLink and the Adelaide Desalination Plant.

Andrew advises on construction and infrastructure project delivery, outsourcing and procurement, and utilities advisory and has been consistently recognised as a leading practitioner in independent market surveys, including Asia Pacific Legal 500Chambers & PartnersBest Lawyers and Doyle’s Guide.

Andrew joins Maddocks along with senior associate Louisa Nuccitelli.

Maddocks partner and Practice Group Head Paul Woods said Andrew’s appointment would bolster the firm’s Construction & Projects team and its offering to infrastructure clients. Paul said:
