Latvia invites firms to the International Open Day Kekava Bypass PPP project

The Latvian State Roads (LSR) has invited all interested parties to an International Open Day of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project Kekava Bypass.

Open Day is organised in order to give an insight into the future of PPP concept in road infrastructure projects in Latvia, highlight expectations of this project, as well as gather project implementation feedback from potential partners.

This event will gather legal, managerial and technical experts, as well as financial sector representatives and academia.

Registration closes on July 1st, 2017. To register call: +371 6707 4100 or email on clientsLV@deloitteCE.com.

Kekava Bypass is the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project in Latvia, which includes designing, construction and maintenance of a bypass on E67/A7, where A7 is part of Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and Via Baltica. The estimated project cost is around €160 million (US$178 million).

The project is expected to carry significant impact in both areas: to improve traffic flow by constructing the Bypass and to give an incentive for other PPP projects of various scale in Latvia.

You can download the registration and invitation documents from the project profile.
