 Lagos State tenders water PPP

The Lagos State Government, Nigeria, through Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) has launched a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) for the “Water Distribution Network, metering and Operation/Management of New 70MGD Adiyan Phase II Water Treatment Plant”. 

The project will be delivered under PPP scheme on Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (BFOT) basis.

The project scope of work will broadly include:

  • Construction of 2,369Km of Water Distribution Network Pipelines of varying sizes;
  • Service Connection of over 200,000 house connections and metering, including telemetry and SCADA infrastructure;
  • Operation and Maintenance of a newly constructed 70MGD Adiyan II (WTP);
  • Development and Maintenance of a comprehensive Customer Database and collection of revenue;
  • Design, Construction and Commissioning of 7.8 – 10 Megawatts Independent Power Plant (IPP).

The deadline for interested firms is on February 24, 2017 no later than 16:00 hours Nigeria time.
