L&G Investment Management hires infrastructure strategist

L&G Investment Management has appointed Declan O'Brien as infrastructure strategist. He joins from Moody's Investors Service.

At Moody's Investors Service Mr. O'Brien was was an assistant vice president within project and infrastructure finance. Prior to that he worked as associate at KBC, where he was involved in originating, structuring and executing Project Finance transactions in the infrastructure, telecoms and energy sectors.

He has also worked with the corporate banking team for Bank of Scotland (Ireland) on an internship programme through the University of Limerick.

Legal & General Investment Management is an European asset manager and a global investor. The firm works with a wide range of global clients, including pension schemes, sovereign wealth funds, fund distributors and retail investors.

Throughout the past 40 years the company has provided investment expertise across the full spectrum of asset classes including fixed income, equities, commercial property and cash. its capabilities range from index-tracking and active strategies to liquidity management and liability-based risk management solutions.
