The Local Government of Kerala (India), though the Partner Kerala Mission (PKM), has launched requests for qualification (RFQs) to develop seven urban PPP projects.

The seven projects will be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance (DBFOM)  basis for a specified period on a revenue-sharing model.

Interested parties must submit their qualification documents on 30 May 2015.

The seven projects are the following:

- Multi-Level Car Parking and Commercial Complex at Kacheripady, Kochi. The project envisages the development of an automated Multi-Level Car Parking and other commercial zones as applicable under the governing bye laws and zoning regulations. The project shall include an automated Multi-Level Car Parking with facilities such as convenient token/ smart card/ RFID card system and additional parking facility for commercial area users.

- Public Park and Multi-Functional Complex at Edappally. The project envisages the development of a Multi-Purpose Hall, with adequate number of seating, facilities such as banquet hall, kitchen, lounge, administration area, toilets/ washrooms, etc, a Jogging Track, a Public Park and a separate office space for concessioning authority with wi-fi facility, furniture & fixtures, electrical fittings, utilities and other related requirements.

- Mobility Hub at Meenchantha, Kozhikode. The project envisages the development of a Mobility Hub, for operating Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses, Kerala Urban Road Transport Corporation (KURTC) buses, Inter-state buses, private bus services, etc., by providing adequate bus circulation area, bus bays, passenger amenities including wi-fi facility, ancillary facilities and commercial zones.

- Mobility Hub at Kunnamkulam. The project envisages the development of a Mobility Hub, for operating Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses, Kerala Urban Road Transport Corporation (KURTC) buses, Inter-state buses, private bus services, etc., by providing adequate bus circulation area, bus bays, passenger amenities including wi-fi facility, ancillary facilities and commercial zones.

- Municipal Market and Multi-Functional Complex at Adoor. The project envisages the development of a Municipal Market with separate spaces for vegetable and non-vegetable commodities, well defined loading/unloading areas, separate access for services and customers, separate storage facility for vegetable and non-vegetable market, appropriate waste management systems and a Multi-Purpose Hall with adequate number of seating, facilities such as banquet hall, kitchen, lounge, toilets/washrooms, administration area, etc, furniture & fixtures, electrical fittings, utilities, and other related requirements.

- Municipal Office and Commercial Complex at Pathanamthitta. The project envisages the development of a Municipal Office with Council Hall with facilities such as lounge, administration area, toilets/ washrooms etc., furniture & fixtures, electrical fittings, utilities and other related requirements.

- Exhibition Facility and Convention Centre at Thamarakulam, Kollam. The project envisages the development of an Exhibition Facility and Convention Centre with specified number of seating, facilities such as banquet hall, kitchen, lounge, administration area, toilets/ washrooms, etc, furniture & fixtures, electrical fittings, utilities and other related requirements.
