Kenya seeks legal advisor for stadiums PPP

Sports Kenya has launched a request for proposals (RFP) for PPP Legal Transaction Advisory Services for the construction of three stadiums through a PPP project in Kenya.

The transaction advisor will be engaged for the project development as well as a structured and bankable PPP project. The services depending upon the requirement of each project shall generally include:

  • Pre-feasibility studies;
  • Project feasibility studies, including assessing PPP options, ;
  • Preparation of bidding documents and draft contracts; and
  • Provision of support during the bidding process until financial close or a period of 180 calendar days from the effective date of the contractual agreement signed, whichever is earlier

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 30 July 2015.

Sports Kenya is a body corporate established by the Sports Act 2013 with the mandate of harnessing sports development, encouraging and promoting drug free sports and recreation, providing for establishment of sports institutions, facilities, administration and management of Sports in the country, and for connected purposes.
