Kentucky launches tender for social P3 project

The Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet has released a notice for a Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop a new Commonwealth building to be located in Frankfort.

The project will be developed on a design, build, finance, operate and maintenance (DBFOM) basis.

The project involves the construction of a new 334,000-square-foot office building to accommodate 1300 employees. It also involves the development of all the related infrastructures.

Interested parties must submit responses on a "Commonwealth of Kentucky Solicitation" on or before 27 June 2014.  A pre proposal conference is scheduled for early July with phase one proposals due 25 August 2014. Anticipated contract award is slated for 17 September 2014.
