The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Nadim Khan has joined the firm as a partner in the Firm's Projects & Infrastructure Practice. He will be based in Jones Day’s Dubai Office.
An attorney for more than 20 years, including 15 years in the Middle East, Mr. Khan has advised on major transactions both inside and outside the region. He also has structured and developed a number of "first of its kind" Islamic financing products.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2016, Mr. Khan advised on many high-profile and award-winning transactions including the Salik toll road financing (Transportation, Energy and Infrastructure Team of the Year, Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards 2012 and Project Finance Team of the Year, IFLR Middle East Awards 2011), the Villamar Sukuk (Debt and Equity-linked Deal of the Year, IFLR Middle East Awards 2008), and the Milton Gate real estate transaction (International Real Estate Financing Summit, Middle East [IREEF ME] 2009 Award for Excellence for Outstanding Achievement in Islamic Real Estate Product Innovation).
