John Laing Capital Management appoints Gianluca Mazzoni as the Deputy Investment Adviser to JLIF

John Laing Capital Management has appointed Gianluca Mazzoni as the Deputy Investment Adviser to JLIF, in charge of Business Development. He will report to Andrew Charlesworth, JLIF’S Investment Adviser.

Gianluca, who joins JLCM this week, will be dedicated to JLIF and will be responsible for developing new investment opportunities and leading acquisitions for JLIF.

Gianluca brings significant experience of equity infrastructure investments, corporate finance, private equity and M&A across a wide range of sectors. He has been active in equity infrastructure investments since 2007, first at Societe Generale as Managing Director and Head of Principal Investments and subsequently as Infrastructure Partner at Access Capital Partners.

As an equity stakeholder, JLIF partners with public sector counterparties across the world to deliver key local and national infrastructure projects. In return, these provide government-backed, inflation-linked revenue streams to its business. JLIF is advised on a day-to-day basis by John Laing Capital Management Limited (JLCM), a wholly owned subsidiary of John Laing.
