The Italian authority CUC Unione dei Comuni Alto Cilento, which supervises several municipalities in the region of Campania, has launched a tender process for the the public lighting PPP project development of the entire territory of Agropoli.
The final developer will be responsible for the design, finance, build, operation, maintenance of the street lighting through a 25 year-lease period. Additionally, it will be also in charge of the electricity supply.
More concretely the concession covers: the final design, safety coordination during design and execution, supervision for the implementation of regulatory compliance interventions, reconstruction, restructuring, redevelopment and energy efficiency of the public lighting system.
The total project investment is approximately €2.6 million (US$3 million), while the total cost of the concession including the the annual amount for the routine maintenance and the supply of electricity is estimated at €20 million (US$22.5 million).
The deadline for the execution of the work is set at 60 consecutive calendar months, starting from the signing of contract.
Interested parties must submit their expression of interest on or before June 9.
