Italian leisure PPP launched

An Italian regional authority has issued a contract notice for a leisure PPP.

Centrale Unica di Committenza della Valle Trompia launched a tender process to seek a private partner to develop the project.

The PPP project involves the construction of a new swimming pool with a solarium and the renovation of several buildings of a tennis club, including the upgrade of the courts. The private partner will be also responsible for the maintenance of the installations for a 20-year period.

Project cost is expected to amounts to €7.25 million (US$7.94 million).

The Val Trompia is a slightly more than 50 km long valley in the Province of Brescia, northern Italy.
