The recently appointed CEO of Isolux Corsan, Francisco José García, has left the company after taking over the position in late January 2013. Spanish newspaper, Expansión, has reported that the departure of Garcia has been carried out by mutual agreement. Francisco José Garcia joined the company in 2009 after working for 23 years at FCC.
Antonio González Torralbo is taking over as new CEO. He was previously General Manager of the construction unit of Isolux Corsan.
The rest of the structure of the company stays as it was before the reorganization carried out by Isolux four and half months ago. At that time, the Board of Directors of Isolux Infrastructure (subsidiary of Isolux Corsan and PSP Investments) also appointed Santiago Varela as its CEO.
Recently, Isolux Corsán submitted a record of employment regulation (ERE) affecting 355 workers of the construction division of the group in Spain (38% of the total workforce) due to the economic recession and to the decrease of activity in the country.
