Ireland's NRA seeks financial advisors

The Ireland's National Roads Authority (NRA) has launched a tender proces for Financial Management and Advisory Services.

The contract is divided into lots, each lot includes:

  • Lot 1: External Service Delivery of Financial Management Services. This lot covers the provision of financial management services to the authority, relating to the authority's commercial operations, which include eFlow (barrier free tolling on the M50), Dublin Tunnel, Motorway Service Areas and PPP Tolling Schemes (of which there are currently eight).
  • Lot 2: General Financial Advisory Services to the Authority. This lot covers the provision of general financial, audit and advisory services to the authority (including, but not limited to, matters such as tax, VAT, organisation and business process improvements). This services may include: PPP contract administration advisory services, authority toll operations advisory services, authority general financial advisory services, internal and external audit and human resources management services.

The NRA has the option to extend the framework agreement duration of three years by a further 1 year.

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 14 April 2015.

The NRA responsible for the national road network, it includes the planning, maintenance and construction of National Primary Routes and National Secondary Routes as well as establishing safety measures. Ireland's national road network consists of 2,739 km of National Primary Routes and 2,676 km of National Secondary Routes. NRA is mainly concerned with the extensive expansion of Ireland'smotorway network under the National Development Plan (NDP).
