INPP announces appointment of new Board member

International Public Partnerships Limited (INPP) announced on August 29 that John Stares has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company as a non-executive director with effect from 28 August 2013.

Keith Dorrian, Chairman, said:

"We are delighted to welcome John to the INPP Board and we are sure that his wide range of experience and appropriate qualifications will complement the Board. Following my decision not to stand for re-election next June the independent Directors, under the chairmanship of Rupert Dorey, researched the offshore market and out of a significant number of potential directors with appropriate experience a short list of 4 were selected and a number of interviews took place culminating in the appointment of John. During the coming period John will receive induction training and I am sure that by the time of my departure he will be a fully integrated and productive member of the Board."

John Stares, 62, has over 30 years business experience. Since moving to Guernsey in 2001, he has taken on a portfolio of roles which currently includes Chair of the JT Group (formerly Jersey Telecoms), Non-Executive Directorships with Jersey Electricity plc and the Guernsey entities of Terra Firma as well as Trustee roles with a School, Arts Foundation and NPC. He has also completed a 10-year term as the Managing Director of Guernsey Enterprise Agency and 5-year terms as a Non-Executive Consultant to the Ogier Group and a Non-Executive Director of Aurigny Airlines.

Between 1978 and 2001 John was with Accenture. During that period, he worked as a consultant with major clients in most industry sectors. John became a partner in 1986 and during his 15-year tenure ending in 2001 he also held a wide variety of leadership roles in Accenture's Canadian, European and Global businesses.

John is a graduate of Imperial College London, a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants.
