Indonesia 2019 Infrastructure Projects Plan

Ministry of National Development Planning/ National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) in Indonesia via Directorate of Public-Private Partnership and Design has issued "Public-Private Partnership Book 2019 - Infrastructure Projects Plan in Indonesia". The book provides the latest preview and information about infrastructure PPP projects plan in Indonesia.

The total number of projects listed is 20, with 19 under preparation projects and 1 ready to offer project (Expansion of Hang Nadim International Airport Passenger Terminal – already on Pre-Qualification stage). The project also lists 9 tendered projects, 14 PPP infrastructure projects under construction and 4 PPP projects under operation which show that the PPP scheme can be implemented and become the solution for the funding of infrastructure projects in Indonesia.

Below is the list of 19 projects in planning.

The road sector features Yogya-Bawen Toll Road project with USD 1,018 million investment and Riau Non-Toll Road Preservation.

Transportation sector features Proving Ground BPLJSKB project for creating of testing ground for vehicles; Motor Vehicle Weighing Implementation Unit (UPPKB) in Java and Sumatera project; Development of Baubau Port project; Medan Municipal Transport project that features creation of BRT and LRT systems estimated at USD 891 million and Semarang LRT project estimated at USD 1,041 million.

Health Sector features Indonesia National Cancer Center Dharmais Hospital hospital; Pirngadi Hospital and Zainoel Abidin General Hospital.

Correctional Facility Sector lists Relocation of Salemba Correctional Facility project and Nusakambangan Industrial Correctional Facility project.

Education Sector includes University of Sam Ratulangi Teaching Hospital project and Institut Teknologi Bandung’s Cirebon Campus Development project.

Water Supply Sector features Pekanbaru Water Supply project that will provide reliable drinking water infrastructure.

Urban Facility Sector features revitalization and modernization of Ciputat Market - existing traditional market.

Industrial sector includes the development of Bintuni Industrial Zone estimated at USD 451.10 million.

Waste Management Sector lists Legok Nangka Regional Waste to Energy project.

Energy Conservation Sector includes Surakarta Street Lighting project.
