India´s MBL infrastructures announces new PPP contracts

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded two road public private partnership (PPP) projects to MBL Infrastructures.

The projects will be developed on design, build, finance, operation and transfer (DBFOT), Hybrid Annuity basis. The two projects are the following:

Four Laning of Chutmalpur - Ganeshpur section of NH-72A and Roorkee - Chutmalpur - Gagalheri section of NH-73. The project involves the four Laning of Chutmalpur-Ganeshpur section of NH-72A from km 0.000 (km 22.825 of NH-73) to km 16.000 (Design Chainage km 17.900) & Roorkee-Chutmalpur-Gagalheri section of NH-73 from km 0.000 (km 167.800 of NH-58) to km 33.000 (Design Chainage 35.400) in the State of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

The total project investment is estimated at Rs9.4 billion (US$141 million). During construction, 40% of the project cost will be funded by NHAI and the remaining 60% will be arranged by the concessionaire.

Four Laning of Gagalheri - Saharanpur - Yamunanagar section of NH-73. The project involves the four laning of Gagalheri-Saharanpur-Yamunanagar (UP/Haryana Border) section of NH-73 from km 33.000 (design chainage km 35.400) to km 71.640 (design chainage km 86.855) in the State of Uttar Pradesh under NHDP-IV.

The total project investment is estimated at Rs11.84 billion (US$177.9 million). During construction, 40% of the project cost will be funded by NHAI and the remaining 60% will be arranged by the concessionaire.

MBL Infrastructures Limited is engaged in execution of civil engineering projects with specialisation in roads & highways. The company posseses experience in road building and maintenance. It has an integrated business model for EPC and BOT projects.
